After a long cold Winter, we here at New Ontario like to celebrate the upcoming spring by utilizing some good ol'fashioned maple syrup from our friends over at Sugarstone Farms.
The Brown Ale pours a beautiful deep copper in color, with a thick cream head. Initial smell suggests a toasted malt character with a healthy dollop of Maple. The malt profile is rich and complex, with rich bready notes complemented by subdued earthy British hops and gently sweetened by hint of maple syrup at the finish.
Truly a lovely pint, worthy of any Canadian Spring.
